Democrat Mayor, Who ‘Debunked’ Pizzagate, Arrested for Child Rape

A former mayor in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who previously claimed to have disproven allegations of an elite pedophile ring has now been arrested on multiple charges related to crimes against a minor, according to reports.
Chad-Alan Carr, who once served as mayor of Gettysburg, is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy he met while working with the Gettysburg Community Theatre, where Carr later held the position of executive director.
According to reporting by Infowars.com, court records show Carr faces two counts related to filming or photographing child sexual activity and one count of corruption of minors. CBS 21 reported that the alleged victim told state police he first encountered Carr when he was eight years old through activities connected to the theater.
Investigators say Carr developed a relationship with the boy that began years before the alleged sexual activity. State police said during a press conference that they believe Carr began grooming the victim when he was still a pre-teen. Authorities allege Carr built trust with the boy over time and eventually persuaded him to send explicit photos and videos, as well as engage in conduct that violates Pennsylvania criminal law.
Court documents state that sexual activity between Carr and the teen reportedly began in 2013 when the victim was about 16 years old and continued until he was 17. The charging documents also say the two exchanged explicit images and communicated online.
Adams County District Attorney Brian Sinnett said during a press conference that investigators have received other reports suggesting Carr may have had inappropriate interactions with minors in the past. However, those allegations have not resulted in additional criminal charges.
Carr’s arrest comes amid other recent cases involving elected officials accused of crimes related to child exploitation. One example cited in reports is the former mayor of College Park, Maryland, a Democrat who was charged in 2023 with possession of child sexual abuse material.
