Hillary Clinton Makes Mockery of Epstein Ties with Her Organization Selling Tone-Deaf ‘Hold Me in Contempt’ Merch
Hillary Clinton’s political nonprofit, Onward Together, is drawing criticism after releasing merchandise that references her recent clash with lawmakers over questions about Jeffrey Epstein. The items feature the phrase “Hold Me in Contempt Until the Cows Come Home,” a line Clinton used during tense testimony before the House Oversight Committee in February.
During that hearing, Clinton responded sharply to repeated questions about her and Bill Clinton’s past connections to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. At one point she told committee members, “You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home,” expressing frustration with the line of questioning. The comment has now been turned into a fundraising slogan by her organization.
The merchandise rollout comes shortly after the committee voted to recommend holding both Hillary and Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress. Lawmakers took that step after the pair initially declined to testify in person and instead offered written statements. They later agreed to appear before the committee.
While testifying, Hillary Clinton said she had no knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activity and did not recall ever meeting him. She described Maxwell as someone she knew only casually.

Documents and testimony connected to the Epstein investigation have raised additional questions about those claims. Material from the Epstein files indicates Maxwell once described herself as having a “very central” role in helping establish the Clinton Global Initiative. Maxwell also attended Chelsea Clinton’s wedding, and Bill Clinton has appeared in several photographs alongside Epstein.
Onward Together was founded by Hillary Clinton in 2017 after her loss in the 2016 presidential election. The nonprofit operates as a 501(c)(4) political organization and supports progressive groups such as Swing Left and Color of Change. According to the group, purchases of the new merchandise are treated as contributions that help fund its partner organizations.
The new collection includes a black cap priced at $35 with the slogan stitched in white lettering, a $55 crewneck sweatshirt bearing the same phrase, and a $32 T-shirt featuring the line as well. Critics argue the campaign trivializes the seriousness of the Epstein investigation and the scrutiny surrounding the Clintons’ past associations with the financier.
