Israel and US Forces BEGIN Massive Strikes on Iranian Oil Depots and Refineries in Major War Escalation
The conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran escalated dramatically Saturday night after Israeli forces, coordinating with U.S. military assets, launched large-scale strikes targeting Iranian oil infrastructure in and around Tehran.

According to Israel’s public broadcaster KAN, the Israeli Air Force struck oil storage depots and refinery facilities located in Tehran.
Israeli officials said the operation focused on fuel depots and energy infrastructure believed to be supporting Iran’s military operations.

In a statement posted on X, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said several fuel storage complexes connected to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were targeted.
Guided by IDF intelligence, Israeli Air Force aircraft struck the sites, which Israeli officials said were used by the Iranian government to distribute fuel to multiple military entities within the country.
The IDF said the strike represents a significant escalation aimed at damaging the military infrastructure of Iran’s government.

“We attacked several fuel depots that served the military forces of the Iranian regime in Tehran,” the statement said. “The regime relies on these fuel facilities to operate military infrastructure and to distribute fuel to various users, including military entities across Iran.”
Israeli officials described the operation as another step in efforts to weaken Iran’s military capabilities and reduce threats against Israel.
Massive fires were reported at several storage facilities as explosions were heard across parts of Tehran late Saturday night.

Videos circulating on social media appeared to show large fires lighting up the skyline while thick plumes of smoke rose into the night sky. Footage from the area showed the Shahran fuel facility engulfed in flames.
According to a report by CNN, Israel began striking Iranian oil storage sites as part of the next phase of the war. An Israeli source told the network that the targets included facilities responsible for distributing fuel to both civilian and military users.
The IDF said the strikes were intended to deepen the damage to Iran’s military infrastructure.
Video published by Reuters also showed flames and heavy smoke rising from the Shahran oil refinery in Tehran.

Earlier in the week, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said Israel was entering the next stage of its operation, though he did not provide specific details about what actions would follow.
“In this phase, we will further dismantle the regime and its military capabilities,” Zamir said in a video statement. “We have additional surprises ahead which I do not intend to disclose.”
Following the strike on the Tehran refinery, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it launched missiles targeting the Haifa refinery in Israel.
