Michael Jackson accused of abusing kids at homes of Elton John and Elizabeth Taylor

A new lawsuit claims that Michael Jackson sexually abused victims at the homes of Elizabeth Taylor and Elton John. The Feb. 27 federal filing, brought by four members of the Cascio family, includes the first allegations of Jackson abusing a female.

The plaintiffs—Edward, Dominic, and Aldo Cascio, along with their sister Marie-Nicole Porte—were once considered Jackson’s “second family” and had defended him in the past against abuse claims. The 23-page complaint alleges that Jackson “was a serial child predator who, over more than a decade, drugged, raped, and sexually assaulted each of the Plaintiffs.” They say the abuse began in the 1990s, when they were as young as seven or eight.

Another brother, Frank Cascio, now 44, worked closely with Jackson for years and was considered one of his most trusted insiders. He is also involved in legal disputes with the Jackson estate. The complaint claims that Edward was abused during stops on the Dangerous World Tour (1992–1993), at Elizabeth Taylor’s home in Switzerland, Elton John’s UK residence, and Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. There is no suggestion that the celebrities who owned these homes were aware of the alleged incidents.

The filing also alleges that Jackson sexually assaulted Marie-Nicole during interstate and international trips, including at Neverland Ranch, New York, Las Vegas, Florida, and the Cascio family’s home. It further claims an attempted sexual abuse in Bahrain, where Jackson lived from 2005 to 2006.

After Jackson’s death in 2009, Frank Jr. published a memoir defending him and rejecting abuse allegations, a stance the family maintained for years. The Cascios were often cited by Jackson supporters as evidence that claims of abuse were false.

The family first met Jackson through their father, Frank Sr., who befriended the singer while working at a New York hotel in 1984.

The complaint also alleges that Dominic was abused during the HIStory World Tour (1996–1997), including trips to France and South Africa. Representatives for Elton John and the estate of Elizabeth Taylor did not respond to requests for comment.

According to the lawsuit, Jackson groomed the siblings with lavish gifts, international travel, and access to his celebrity lifestyle. The plaintiffs claim he provided alcohol and drugs and relied on what the complaint calls the “Jackson Organization” of employees, advisors, and associates to hide his conduct.

The Cascios are pursuing claims under federal sex trafficking statutes and are seeking to reverse a 2019 “Acquisition and Consulting Agreement” with Jackson’s estate to receive additional damages and a jury trial. The complaint requests damages “in an amount to be proved at trial.”

Jackson’s estate responded swiftly through attorney Marty Singer, calling the lawsuit “a desperate money grab by additional members of the Cascio family who have hopped on the bandwagon with their brother.” Singer noted that the family “staunchly defended Michael Jackson for more than 25 years, attesting to his innocence of inappropriate conduct” and described the filing as an effort “to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars from Michael’s estate and companies.”

Jackson’s three children—Prince, Paris, and Bigi—also stayed with the Cascios when they were younger, reflecting the families’ close relationship. Singer emphasized that Jackson was “unanimously acquitted by a jury after a five-month trial” in 2005 over allegations he molested Gavin Arvizo, then 13.

The Cascio family’s claims come amid ongoing litigation from Wade Robson and James Safechuck, subjects of the 2019 HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland.” Both men previously defended Jackson before later filing civil claims of childhood sexual abuse.

Sources indicate that Robson’s and Safechuck’s attorneys have identified another alleged female victim who has not publicly come forward but is willing to testify, reportedly holding a copy of a “payoff” check allegedly from Jackson.

The allegations surface as Jackson’s estate prepares for the biopic “Michael,” set to release in April. Early trailers have drawn hundreds of millions of online views. The film stars Colman Domingo, Lorenz Tate, and Nia Long, with Jackson’s nephew Jaafar portraying him. Prince Jackson is a producer, and Jackson’s brother Jackie helped bring the project to the screen.

The estate has denied the Cascio allegations. “Sadly, in death just as in life, Michael’s talents and success continue to make him a target,” Singer said.
