Georgia cops tell parents to make sure they don’t pack booze in kids’ lunches
Police in Georgia are asking parents to double-check their kids’ lunchboxes after a student showed up at school with an unexpected adult beverage inside.
The South Fulton Police Department shared a photo of a seemingly normal lunch — until closer inspection revealed a canned Cutwater Lemon Drop Martini. The 12-ounce cocktail, made with vodka, triple sec, and lemon juice, has an 11% alcohol content, more than double the strength of a typical beer.

“That is NOT Capri Sun. That is NOT apple juice,” the department joked on social media. “That’s a ‘Parent had a long night’ starter pack,” they added, urging parents to “TIGHTEN UP.”
Police reminded parents, “We know mornings are hectic … but your child shouldn’t be the only one in the cafeteria carrying a drink that requires an ID.” They encouraged checking lunchboxes carefully before Fulton County Schools resource officers have to step in.
