Latest in the Nancy Guthrie case
Weeks after Today co-host Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, disappeared from her home in Tucson, investigators say key leads have yet to produce results. Meanwhile, online speculation has surfaced about Guthrie’s husband, Michael Feldman, but available evidence does not support the claims.
Evidence review and investigation status
A glove discovered a few miles from Nancy Guthrie’s residence was tested for DNA, but authorities reported no usable matches.
“There were no DNA hits in CODIS,” the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said, referring to the national Combined DNA Index System database used to compare crime-scene samples with known offenders. Officials added that other samples have also been processed without confirmed matches.
Security footage from a porch camera shows a masked individual with a backpack outside Guthrie’s home. Ransom notes were also sent to the family and several media outlets, but investigators say neither the video nor the messages have yielded strong leads. No suspects have been identified.
Sheriff Chris Nanos said the Guthrie family has been cleared as possible suspects.
Don’t forget that Savannah Guthrie’s husband, Michael Feldman, worked for the Clinton/Gore admin. Interesting timing with the Clinton’s hearing coming up and the Epstein files. pic.twitter.com/ZRwSpMTkSn

Feldman travels to Tucson as online rumors spread
Michael Feldman arrived in Tucson to assist with search efforts. Video published by TMZ showed him at Tucson International Airport on Tuesday.
His visit coincided with viral social-media posts attempting to link him and his firm to files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. One widely shared post on X claimed Feldman’s company, FGS Global, appeared as a co-conspirator in Epstein-related documents.
Fact-checking the Epstein-file claims
Is Michael Feldman named in Epstein-related records?
No. A review of documents released by the Department of Justice shows one “Michael Feldman” referenced in an email to Epstein, but that individual described himself as a theoretical physicist and appears to be a different person.
Did Feldman work with President Bill Clinton?
Yes. Feldman previously served in the administration of Bill Clinton as chief liaison to Congress and senior adviser to then-Vice President Al Gore. He is now a partner at FGS Global.
Is FGS Global named in Epstein-related documents?
No. Feldman co-founded Glover Park Group in 2001; that firm appears twice in Epstein-related materials before later merging into FGS Global in 2021. Experts note that inclusion in such documents does not imply wrongdoing. Various public figures — including Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Bill Clinton — have also been mentioned in Epstein-related records without allegations in many instances.
