President Trump GOES OFF on Hillary Clinton and AOC For Embarrassing Themselves on the World Stage in Munich (VIDEO)
President Trump sharply criticized Democratic leaders including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio‑Cortez, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and California Governor Gavin Newsom following their remarks at the Munich Security Conference in Germany over the weekend.
Trump, speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Monday night while returning to Washington, said the comments from Ocasio‑Cortez at the international forum “were not a good look for the United States.” He also took aim at Newsom, suggesting the governor’s performance reflected poorly on the country. Trump contrasted their appearances with the reception for Secretary of State Marco Rubio, whom he praised for his address in Munich.
Rep. Ocasio‑Cortez faced widespread criticism after misstating that Venezuela is “below the equator” while discussing U.S. foreign policy and the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro during a panel discussion connected to the conference. Factually, Venezuela lies north of the equator, a point that drew mockery from commentators across the political spectrum.
At the conference, Clinton was also in the spotlight, engaging in discussions on global issues and reportedly clashing with international leaders over foreign policy topics.
In his remarks aboard Air Force One, Trump said that, in his view, Ocasio‑Cortez and Newsom did not handle questions well and that their performances were embarrassing for the United States. He added that Clinton’s criticism of his policies was driven by what he called “Trump derangement.” Trump also echoed his praise for Rubio’s representation of the United States at the event.
Trump later posted on his social media platform that the Democratic leaders had made “fools of themselves” on what he described as “foreign soil,” and reiterated his support for the U.S. delegation’s efforts at the conference.
