WATCH: Savannah Guthrie Tearfully Pleads with Her Mother’s Captors in New Instagram Video
Savannah Guthrie shared a heartfelt video on Instagram Sunday night, urging anyone responsible for or aware of her mother’s disappearance to come forward.
Her mother, Nancy Guthrie, was abducted from her home in Pima County, Arizona two weeks ago. Authorities continue to investigate the case, though a recent FBI raid on a residence about two miles from Nancy Guthrie’s home yielded no arrests. Three individuals were detained and later released.
In her message, Savannah Guthrie expressed enduring hope and appealed directly to whoever may have information:
“It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken… we still have hope, and we still believe.
To whoever has her or knows where she is, it’s never too late… it is never too late to do the right thing.”
Investigators say there may be a significant development. The FBI reported that one of 16 gloves recovered a few miles from Nancy Guthrie’s residence matches the glove worn by an unidentified individual seen in doorbell surveillance footage from the night of the abduction. DNA from an unknown male was found on the glove and has been sent for analysis, with results expected soon.
