The search for Nancy Guthrie, the 84‑year‑old mother of NBC’s Savannah Guthrie who was reported missing on February 1, 2026, has involved a major, around‑the‑clock effort from law enforcement. Several hundred detectives and agents from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI have been assigned to the case, reviewing thousands of tips from the public and canvassing neighborhoods while analysing evidence and leads day and night. So far, authorities have received more than 13,000 tips and 18,000 calls, and have established a 24‑hour command operation to investigate every credible lead. In addition to the manpower and hours spent, the FBI has **doubled the reward to $100,000 to encourage information that could help locate her or bring those responsible to justice.
