The comments sparked reactions online. Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz responded to the video in a post on X, writing, “Wow Cardi B is now trying to incite violence against our ICE officers.”
Bruesewitz also noted Cardi B’s political involvement in recent years, writing, “Cardi B is very close to Jay-Z & Roc Nation and was a key surrogate for Kamala Harris and the Democrats in 2024. What an absolutely disgusting person.”
Cardi B has frequently spoken out on political issues, using her social media platforms to criticize immigration enforcement policies and express support for Democratic candidates. She has previously described ICE as “racist” and accused the agency of “terrorizing” communities.
Some online commenters described her remarks at the concert as joking or playful, while others criticized them as inappropriate and inflammatory.
As of Thursday afternoon, Cardi B had not publicly responded to the reaction. Her tour is scheduled to continue in several cities across the country in the coming weeks.
