Washington Mother Brutally Attacked by High School Student Mob During Anti-ICE Walkout, Police Do Nothing to Stop it (VIDEO)
A woman says she was assaulted during a student protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) outside Issaquah High School in Washington state. Video of the incident has circulated widely on social media.
According to the woman, who asked to remain anonymous out of fear of retaliation, she was near the school on Monday morning when hundreds of students walked out of class to participate in the protest. She said she did not interact with the students before the incident.

The police did not help the woman or take any action. She was only able to escape after a nearby man helped escort her out.

In the footage, students holding signs with messages opposing ICE can be seen surrounding her. The woman says she was bumped into, cursed at, and had her hair pulled as she tried to move through the crowd. At one point in the video, she can be heard saying, “I just got assaulted.”
Journalist Jonathan Choe later interviewed the woman. He reported that she described the encounter as unprovoked and said that police officers present at the scene did not intervene while the situation unfolded.
As of now, the Issaquah School District and the Issaquah Police Department have not released public statements regarding the incident.
