Olive Garden Cook Strips Naked, Plunges Head Into Deep Fryer In Ghastly Workplace Suicide

An Olive Garden employee died after reportedly plunging his head into a deep fryer on Jan. 30, The Smoking Gun (TSG) reported Thursday.
The victim, who has not been publicly identified, allegedly removed his clothing upon arriving at the Williamsport, Pennsylvania restaurant before placing his head into one of the kitchen fryers. An emergency call obtained by TSG captured the dispatcher saying they “don’t have a lot of details” as “people [were] screaming” in the background.
“I don’t have a lot of details, a lot of people screaming,” the operator said. “Some kind of a burn victim.”
“A male victim went headfirst into the fryers,” the dispatcher added.
The employee was rushed to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries. A Reddit user claiming to have worked with the victim suggested he had been under the influence of PCP, a hallucinogenic drug.
“I work there. It happened. Fucking nightmare fuel,” the user wrote. “Screaming women. Five males on staff and one is jumping into the fryer. He was on PCP and something possessed him to believe the fryer was water.”
“I pulled him out three separate times, as he fought to go back in,” the user added.
Pennsylvania State Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
