A flyer circulating in Minneapolis encourages residents to take actions the poster says would “fight ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] without any risks.”
Photos of the flyer were shared Wednesday on the Minneapolis Spring account on X, which is known for promoting left-wing viewpoints. The post quotes the flyer saying residents “have no excuses” and “will get away with it,” in reference to causing trouble for federal immigration officers. The handout suggests acts such as “overtighten lug nuts” on vehicles and “strip spark plugs,” and states “it is your right to make mistakes.”
Other instructions in the flyer include suggestions like losing paperwork, preparing food incorrectly, or serving agents decaf coffee instead of regular. “Everything adds up,” the flyer reads. “You have no excuses anymore. Just do it.”

The Minneapolis Spring account has consistently urged local opponents of ICE to take direct action, including setting up temporary road blockades, tracking federal agent movements and “directly defend[ing]” neighborhoods.
In past posts, the account criticized law enforcement’s removal of a blockade near an immigration enforcement operation, saying police “colludes with ICE by clearing the filter blockade set up by community defenders” and claiming officers seized barricading materials. The account also posted videos of protesters stopping vehicles and checking license plates before allowing drivers to proceed.
