Piers Morgan Hospitalized After Bad Fall
British broadcaster Piers Morgan, 60, was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering a serious fall in London.
Morgan fractured his femur after tripping on a small step at a London hotel restaurant. The injury was severe enough that he required emergency hip replacement surgery.

Sharing details of the incident on social media, Morgan described the sequence of events with his trademark humor, explaining that the fall led to a broken femur, a new hip, and a hospital stay. He said he will need to use crutches for six weeks and has been advised to avoid long-haul travel for at least 12 weeks.
Posting a photo from his hospital bed along with an X-ray of the injury, Morgan joked that his new year was “off to a cracking start” and humorously blamed President Donald Trump for the mishap.

Morgan is currently recovering in hospital.
