Authorities say the incident occurred after Sutherland entered the vehicle, though no additional details about the confrontation were released.
Jail records indicate that Sutherland was booked on felony charges and later released after posting $50,000 bail. He was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats, NBC 4 reported.
