American patriots have raised more than $250,000 to support the ICE agent at the center of a nationwide controversy following the fatal shooting of a protester.

Supporters say the agent acted in clear self-defense after immigration activist Renee Nicole Good allegedly attempted to run him over with her vehicle. According to accounts of the incident, the agent repeatedly instructed Good to exit the car. When she refused and drove toward him, the agent—fearing for his life—fired his weapon, fatally striking her.

In the aftermath, protests have erupted across the country, with left-wing activists demanding retaliation against the agent. As a result, his life and that of his family have been dramatically disrupted.

In response, conservatives and patriots across the United States and abroad have rallied to support the agent. A GoFundMe fundraiser launched on his behalf has already surpassed $220,000 and is approaching its $300,000 goal.

“After seeing all the media nonsense about a domestic terrorist receiving a GoFundMe, I believe the officer who was 1,000 percent justified in the shooting deserves support,” wrote organizer Clyde Emmons. “Funds will go toward any legal services the officer may need.”

Emmons added that he has been in contact with the agent’s father and is awaiting confirmation from the agent himself so the funds can be transferred directly.

Among the donors is prominent investor and Trump supporter Bill Ackman. In addition, a separate fundraiser on GiveSendGo has raised more than $40,000 for the agent.

“This fundraiser supports our ICE hero’s personal expenses, family protection, and anything else related to this righteous act of duty,” the GiveSendGo page states. It also praises ICE agents as “the tip of the spear” in protecting the nation and enforcing immigration law.

Despite the substantial support for the agent, donations raised for Renee Nicole Good and her family far exceed that total. Their GoFundMe campaign reached more than $1.5 million before donations were closed.
