Trump issues chilling warning to Cuba, Colombia…watch your ass
President Trump reiterated his sharp warning to Colombian President Gustavo Petro during a press conference Saturday, held as he announced the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. He also issued a new warning directed at Cuba.
Speaking at Mar-a-Lago, Trump accused Petro of involvement in drug production and trafficking. “He has cocaine mills, he has factories where he makes cocaine,” Trump said. “And yeah, I think I stick by my first statement: He’s making cocaine. They’re sending it to the United States. So he does have to watch his ass.”

Trump’s remarks came shortly after he described Maduro as a “narco-terrorist.” The comments follow earlier statements in which Trump labeled Petro a “troublemaker” and warned that he “better watch it.” Petro has repeatedly criticized the U.S. operation in Venezuela through online posts.
The president also turned his attention to Cuba, calling the country and its leadership a “failing nation.” Cuba relies heavily on Venezuelan oil and has provided security support to Maduro.
“Cuba, as you know, is not doing very well right now,” Trump said. “That system has not been a very good one for Cuba. The people there have suffered for many, many years, and I think Cuba is going to be something we’ll end up talking about, because Cuba is a failing nation right now.”

Trump added that the United States wants to help both the Cuban people and those who were forced to leave the country and now live in the U.S.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio echoed the criticism, calling Cuba’s communist government a “disaster” run by “incompetent senile men.”
