WATCH! GOING VIRAL: Santa Gets Pulled Over For Speeding in Ohio (VIDEO)
Santa Claus had a brief run-in with law enforcement in northwest Ohio earlier this week after being pulled over for speeding while on his way to deliver gifts.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office shared body-camera footage showing an officer stopping a vehicle driven by Santa Claus, with Mrs. Claus riding along. The post was captioned, “Ho Ho Hold On! Santa and Mrs. Claus were spotted flying a little too fast through Fulton County.”
As the officer approached the vehicle, he greeted the driver with a surprised, “Santa!” The man in the Santa suit then informed the officer that he had a concealed carry permit. “Santa has a CCW? Times are rough!” the officer joked.
The officer explained the reason for the stop, noting that the speed limit was 55 mph and reminding Santa to be cautious due to wildlife in the area. After Santa stepped out of the vehicle, the officer continued the lighthearted exchange, telling him to slow down.
Mrs. Claus took a photo of the moment, wishing everyone a “Merry Christmas” as she snapped the picture.
The encounter ended on a cheerful note, with the officer issuing Santa a warning instead of a ticket.
“You guys have a wonderful night! Merry Christmas!” the officer said as he sent Santa and Mrs. Claus on their way.
