JUST IN: British King Charles Has Stripped His Brother Andrew of His ‘Prince’ Title, and Evicted Him from His 30-Room Royal Lodge Mansion
Former Prince Andrew and King Charles.
After years of controversy and public embarrassment stemming from his younger brother’s conduct, King Charles has officially taken decisive action against Andrew.
Buckingham Palace confirmed that Andrew will lose his “Prince” title and be required to vacate Royal Lodge, his long-time residence.
‘I suspect the King knows something spectacular is about to break.’

A statement released by the Palace reads:
“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles, and Honors of Prince Andrew.
Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge, which until now has allowed him to remain in residence, is being terminated. Formal notice has been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.
These measures are considered necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and deepest sympathies remain with the victims and survivors of all forms of abuse.”

According to the BBC, Andrew will henceforth go by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, dropping his royal title entirely. His daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will retain their titles.
The Independent reported that Andrew is expected to relocate to a property on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk — more than 100 miles away from London — with any future accommodation to be privately funded by the King.

The change marks a major symbolic and personal demotion for Andrew, whose association with scandal has caused deep strains within the royal family.
The surname Mountbatten-Windsor reflects a combination of the royal family’s house name of Windsor and the late Prince Philip’s adopted surname of Mountbatten.
