The News Beyond Detroit would like to come forward and announce that we’re going to make another run at managing this fun site. We can’t say a lot but we had some, shall we say “interesting” events occur between an outside actor and with a lot of help from some entities we didn’t even know existed, we now feel comfortable returning to something similar to what we were producing before this ugly period from about a month ago.
it might take us a little while to ramp up to full speed again, and DetroitCityLimits is now equipped with some extra secure tools. Although with some of this newness, we may not be very responsive to requests for a while. We wish we could sit down and have a beer with all of you and tell you about it all.
Thank you to Sal and Esco and the Authors who have come through for us. We saw the “coffee donations” and we were just overwhelmed at your generous spirit. And moreso, we are happy to see that there was still a lot of traffic on TNBD in the past month. Even with far fewer news stories, you friends all continued to make the site fun and full of activity.
So it may be another day until we get all the new procedures to work with our desire to put up a lot of news for you. Just bear with us a little bit longer. We promise it will be seamless for you.
