A 24-year-old woman from California has been arrested after authorities say she posted troubling videos online showing herself carrying out unauthorized medical procedures on animals, including at least one case that resulted in a dog’s death.

Amanahy Becerra of Visalia was taken into custody on April 29 following an investigation by the Visalia Police Department. Detectives allege she performed veterinary procedures without the proper training or credentials. The case has drawn significant attention in the region as videos of the alleged incidents spread across social media.

According to investigators, several animals suffered serious medical complications due to her actions and required urgent care from licensed veterinarians. Police also stated that appropriate anesthesia was not used during the procedures, causing the animals to experience severe and unnecessary pain.
