Vivian Kubrick, daughter of acclaimed director Stanley Kubrick, launched a sharp social media attack against Erika Kirk, criticizing a pre-recorded video message Kirk delivered during Turning Point USA’s “Make Heaven Crowded” tour at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas.

Kubrick described the speech as “ghastly,” “inauthentic,” and deeply unsettling, comments that quickly sparked backlash online. In her post, she said she had “never witnessed such a ghastly inauthentic phony performance,” adding that despite growing up around the entertainment industry and encountering many insincere people, she felt compelled to speak out.

She escalated her criticism by calling Kirk “a threat to my country,” suggesting she appeared like “a military or intelligence operative,” and labeling her “some kind of sociopath.” Kubrick also described having a strong physical reaction to Kirk’s public appearances, saying something felt seriously wrong whenever she watched or listened to her.

Kubrick pointed to past moments she found troubling, including remarks Kirk made at her husband’s memorial service, where she publicly forgave the accused killer. She also criticized a video Kirk shared of herself lying across her late husband’s body, calling it inappropriate and disturbing.

The criticism extended to Turning Point USA itself, the organization co-founded by Charlie Kirk. Kubrick urged political leaders to distance themselves from the group, writing that if Republicans hope to succeed in upcoming elections, they should move away from the organization and support a new generation of authentic young voices.

Her comments come amid increased attention on Erika Kirk, who recently addressed supporters through a recorded video instead of appearing in person at the Texas event. She told the audience she was spending time with her family following recent events.

Days earlier, Kirk attended the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, where a man attempted to enter the event with weapons and was later charged with attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump.

In a separate video released Wednesday, Kirk spoke about what she called an “epidemic of dehumanization” in the United States. During her Plano address, she delivered a sermon-style message reflecting on her husband’s death and her resilience, drawing parallels to the period between the burial of Jesus Christ and Easter Sunday.

Charlie Kirk, CEO and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated in September while speaking on a college campus in Utah. His memorial drew national attention, with President Trump among those in attendance, where Erika Kirk publicly forgave the accused attacker.
