Newly released body-camera footage is offering additional details about Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest in South Florida, including a brief comment he made about speaking with the president during the incident.

Deputies responded Friday to a rollover crash on South Beach Road on Jupiter Island. Authorities say Woods was driving a Land Rover that crossed double yellow lines while attempting to pass a truck pulling a trailer. The vehicle struck the trailer’s rear fender, causing the SUV to tip onto its side, according to reports from WESH and WPTV.

In one clip captured by deputies’ cameras, Woods explains what happened in the moments before the crash. “I looked down at my phone and all the sudden, boom,” he says, according to WTVJ.

The footage also shows officers conducting a field sobriety test on the golfer. Woods is later placed in handcuffs and seated in the back of a sheriff’s office vehicle, where he appears to hiccup.

At another moment recorded at the scene, a deputy asks Woods to remain nearby with the officers. As Woods walks toward the deputy, he can be heard ending a phone call, saying, “Thank you so much, alright, you got it, thanks.” When the deputy again asks him to stay close, Woods responds, “Yeah, I was just talking to the president. Trying to get away from everybody.” Woods did not identify the president by name in the video.
