President Donald Trump took aim at rock musician Bruce Springsteen in a post on Truth Social Thursday, criticizing the 76-year-old performer and urging supporters to avoid his concerts.

In the post, Trump called Springsteen a “total loser” and said the singer was suffering from what he described as “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Trump also mocked Springsteen’s appearance and labeled the musician’s concerts “overpriced,” encouraging his supporters to skip the shows and save their money.

The comments came after a recent Springsteen performance in Minneapolis, where the longtime rocker delivered a lengthy criticism of Trump’s immigration policies and foreign policy approach. During the show, Springsteen accused Trump of turning the United States into what he described as a “reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation,” according to Mediaite.

Springsteen, a Democrat who has frequently criticized Trump in the past, also recently released a song titled “Streets of Minneapolis.” The song references the fatal shootings of two American citizens by federal immigration officials.

In his social media post, Trump also wrote that he won the 2024 election in a “landslide.” Despite Trump’s call for a boycott of Springsteen’s tour, the effort does not appear to be affecting ticket demand. According to Consequence, tickets for Springsteen’s shows are selling quickly, with concerts in several cities selling out within minutes.
