DEAR ABBY:
My longtime boyfriend has been divorced for more than 20 years. Each year, his ex-wife comes to stay at his home for a week or two, and she always brings along another female friend. He goes out of his way to entertain them—driving them around, taking them to restaurants, and so on.
I have expressed interest in joining, but I am never included.
Am I wrong for feeling disrespected and resentful that I’ve never been introduced to his annual houseguests? I always include him when I have friends or family over.
