MIDLAND, Texas — Nine criminal illegal aliens were arrested Friday at a worksite in a North Midland neighborhood near Stonebridge Road and Cedar Creek Road. The operation involved the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, Midland Fire Department, and federal agencies including ICE and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
Bystanders captured video of the scene, with one observer saying, “We spoke with some neighbors, and they did say they believed this to be a medical emergency, and then they saw HSI, they saw people with green uniforms.”
Footage shows a fire truck with its ladder deployed, assisting ICE agents as they apprehended individuals on the roofs of unconstructed homes. In the video, one person tries to flee but is tackled to the ground, while additional footage shows agents pursuing another suspect.
According to First Alert 7, crews from Telemundo 20 and First Alert 7 reported the presence of local and federal authorities at the scene. Witnesses said some of those arrested were working on the roof of a home when law enforcement moved in.

The arrests are part of ongoing efforts under the current administration of President Trump to enforce immigration laws and remove individuals in the country illegally who have criminal records.
