A newly surfaced video reportedly shows comedian Corey Holcomb striking a female comedian outside a Hollywood comedy club.
The footage, first reported by TMZ, captures a group of people gathered outside the Hollywood Improv as a woman identified as comedian Cristina Payne appears to be shouting at Holcomb. Moments later, several bystanders rush toward Holcomb and tackle him to the ground, according to the video.
Payne later filed a battery report with the Los Angeles Police Department. However, no arrest was made in connection with the incident, TMZ reported.
The LAPD did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, the altercation was the result of a long-running dispute between the two comedians. The conflict reportedly dates back several months and includes alleged threatening remarks made by Holcomb as early as July 2024, which contributed to ongoing tension between the pair prior to the incident outside the Hollywood Improv.
Neither Holcomb nor his representatives have issued a statement, and the Hollywood Improv has not publicly commented on the matter.
