Liam Neeson is clarifying his position on vaccines, even as he narrates a new film that promotes skepticism toward COVID-19 vaccines and highlights Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The actor, best known for Taken and The Naked Gun, lends his voice to Plague of Corruption, a documentary based on a book by Judy Mikovits, a former researcher who gained attention during the pandemic for promoting discredited claims about COVID-19 and vaccines, according to The Guardian. The film is executive-produced by Mikovits’ co-author, Kent Heckenlively, a collaborator of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and directed by Michael Mazzola, who previously worked on UFO-themed projects. Heckenlively praised Neeson’s involvement on social media, writing, “Liam Neeson for the win.”

Neeson’s representatives emphasized that the 73-year-old actor is not anti-vaccine. “Liam never has been, and is not, anti-vaccination,” they said in a statement, noting that he “did not shape the film’s editorial content.” They pointed to his longstanding work with UNICEF and his previous description of vaccines as a “remarkable human success story” as evidence of his support for immunization and public health initiatives.

In Plague of Corruption, Neeson’s narration criticizes COVID-19 lockdowns and suggests that science has been “dangerously politicized,” portraying public health officials as demanding “unconditional submission.” The documentary amplifies Kennedy’s ongoing attacks on vaccine safety and Anthony Fauci, including recycled footage from a 2004 BBC program that the broadcaster later disavowed for serious editorial errors. The film also repeats the debunked claim linking vaccines to autism, despite a World Health Organization report reaffirming there is no such connection.

The narration concludes on a reflective note: “We cannot bring back every loved one we lost, but we can honor their memory by seeking and upholding the truth … This is the beginning of a new chapter.”

Separately, People reports that Neeson’s Naked Gun co-star Pamela Anderson has publicly confirmed a brief romantic relationship with the actor at his upstate New York home after filming wrapped. “If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while,” she said. “I adore Liam … but we are better friends, in full honesty.”
