‘Buck naked’ man caught walking down Polk County road in 36-degree weather: Judd
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Polk County driver got more than they bargained for on their commute when a naked man was spotted walking along the roadside.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd identified the man as 41-year-old Anthony Day, who was seen marching down Broken Arrow Trail in frigid 36-degree weather.
“And this guy is walking down the road completely naked,” Judd said. “And by that, I mean not even his socks.” According to the arrest report, Day told authorities the unusual behavior was part of a “TikTok prank gone wrong.”
Day reportedly refused to give deputies his real name, citing a desire to “protect his privacy,” and provided a false address. He was subsequently arrested.
He now faces charges including exposure of sexual organs, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer without violence. Authorities booked him into the Polk County Jail—still unclothed.
