DEAR ABBY: I often text my older sister to stay in touch. Last month, I sent her a long message filled with updates and casual conversation. To my surprise, it wasn’t she who replied—it was her daughter (whom I don’t particularly get along with).
My message wasn’t meant for her daughter, and while it didn’t contain anything private or embarrassing, I feel upset that someone else intercepted and responded to it. Am I wrong to feel this way? Unfortunately, the whole situation has since escalated, and my sister and I are no longer speaking. What should I do?
