Wichita police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman captured in a troubling video that appears to show her being taken away against her will. The incident reportedly occurred around 2 a.m., and authorities have released footage showing the moment, according to Fox News.
In the video, the woman is seen being pulled from a doorway—reported not to be her residence—while shouting. Police have enhanced the audio to make her voice more audible and are urging anyone with information to contact detectives.

“Your assistance is vital in helping us ensure her safety,” Wichita police wrote on Facebook.
So far, neither the woman nor the man in the video has been identified. Authorities say they are considering all possibilities and have involved regional and federal agencies in the investigation. Neighbors, speaking to KWCH, said they do not recognize the woman and described the area as a quiet neighborhood.
