Authorities are investigating her death, though the Los Angeles County coroner’s office has indicated her body is ready for release. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s homicide bureau suggested that Romney may have fallen or jumped from the multi-story parking garage, but no foul play is currently suspected, the outlet reported.

Representatives from the sheriff’s department, the medical examiner’s office, and Mitt Romney did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
