Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi became the subject of a satirical video shared by President Donald Trump on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Monday. The video, which has since gained viral traction online, uses altered audio to mock Pelosi and her husband, Paul Pelosi.
The parody clip features a digitally altered version of Nancy Pelosi lamenting her post-Congress stock trades and joking about no longer having access to insider information. It also references the 2022 attack on Paul Pelosi during a break-in at their San Francisco home — an incident that drew widespread media attention and political commentary.

In the clip, the voiceover impersonating Pelosi makes exaggerated claims about her personal life and her husband’s connection to the attacker. While clearly satirical and not real, some social media users found the video humorous and praised Trump for sharing it, calling him a “troll king.”
As previously reported, Paul Pelosi was assaulted during a home invasion in November 2022. The attacker, David DePape, broke into the couple’s home and severely injured Paul Pelosi. DePape was later convicted and sentenced to 30 years in federal prison.
The video has reignited debate over the boundaries of political satire and the role of social media in spreading controversial content.
