A doorbell camera in Plantation, Florida, recorded a bold daytime shooting this week when four individuals opened fire outside a residence near Fort Lauderdale.
The incident occurred around noon on Wednesday at a rental property. Surveillance footage shows a blue or gray Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 Coupe pulling up to the curb before four suspects exit the vehicle and begin shooting. The same camera captured the suspects fleeing the scene moments later.
According to Plantation Police, the Mercedes had a Florida license plate linked to a vehicle reported stolen out of Miami Gardens. Investigators believe the attack may be connected to another shooting that happened roughly 45 minutes later in Miami-Dade County, near Interstate 95.
No injuries have been reported in either incident. Authorities said the residents of the home—who are also from Miami Gardens—have not cooperated with the investigation, leaving the motive behind the shooting unclear.
