If one were to assess the Big Three, the takeaway would have to be that while GM is bigger currently, Ford is healthier and bears the most potential to be the market leader in the future. This, however, is secondary to the fact that the American automotive industry is significantly stronger than it was fifteen years ago and all three major players have taken steps to ensure this in the years to come.
