JUST IN: Criminal Illegal Alien Rams ICE Agents in Minnesota as Trump Admin Plans to Scale Back the Number of Immigration Agents
St. Paul, MN — ICE agents arrested Tranquilino Sixto-Anorve, a Mexican national with multiple DUI convictions, after he rammed into an ICE vehicle early Saturday morning in St. Paul. The collision also involved a civilian car.
Sixto-Anorve was taken into ICE custody at the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis. Earlier in the day, anti-ICE demonstrators marched through the streets in animal costumes, singing provocative slogans targeting political figures.
According to Real America’s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam via Frontlines TPUSA, ICE targeted Sixto-Anorve because of his criminal record, which indicated he posed a public safety threat. “Clearly, he was,” the report noted, highlighting statements from ICE Director Todd Lyons and Border Czar Tom Homan emphasizing the importance of transferring criminal illegal aliens to federal custody to protect communities.
Sixto-Anorve remains in ICE detention, where he will face legal consequences for his actions. This incident comes amid plans by the Trump Administration to reduce the number of ICE and CBP agents stationed in Minnesota.
President Trump sent Border Czar Tom Homan to Minneapolis to negotiate with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Governor Walz reportedly requested a “swift, significant reduction” in federal agents and an end to what he called a “campaign of retribution.” Mayor Frey reiterated Minneapolis’ refusal to enforce federal immigration laws.
Following discussions, Homan said Governor Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison confirmed that county jails may notify ICE of upcoming releases of individuals deemed public safety risks, allowing ICE to take custody upon release.
