The saga of Kayla Lemieux appeared to come to an end Wednesday morning when the controversial Canadian teacher slipped into Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, for the first day of classes.

Lemieux was in men’s attire and sporting stubble on his face. An officer told that Lemieux has been self-identifying as male and using the legal name Kerry.

The blond wig, makeup and enormous prosthetic breasts under tight-fitting tops that Lemieux wore in the classroom at a high school in Oakville, Ont. last school year were not on display.

It was the same look Lemieux had for at least one week before classes started, as revealed exclusively by

Just after 8.15am on Wednesday, Lemieux arrived at the rear door of the school in a vehicle escorted by two unmarked cars with officers from Halton Regional Police Service. Stepping out of the rear seat, the shop teacher was flanked by security guards contracted by the school board.

Police collaborated with security personnel and school officials to ensure Lemieux’s safety. As revealed exclusively, the teacher met with officers for about 30 minutes on Tuesday to discuss the plan.

There were no organized protests outside the school, which sits on a cul-de-sac and is surrounded by corn fields.

In a letter to parents before the new school year, principal Tom Fisher warned of ‘possible media interest onsite and protests’ due to the hiring of an ‘experience educator’ who was ‘recently the subject of public attention, pertaining to their gender expression, while teaching at a school in a different community.’

Fisher did not name Lemieux but outlined precautions, including ‘having students enter and exit the building using assigned doors at entry and dismissal’ and ‘locking exterior doors during school hours, only using the front main doors during school hours.’

Fisher did not respond to requests for comment.

Halton Regional Police Service has kept mum on precautions and whether there have been any threats against Lemieux or the school.

One student who will have Lemieux as a teacher said it was ‘a little bit’ of a relief to know that Lemieux was presenting as a male. He said Lemieux’s appearance, including the bogus mega-breasts with prominent nipples, was ‘kinda weird.’

Lemieux drove to a Tim Horton's coffee shop only blocks away from Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, and met with two female plainclothes officers from the Halton Regional Police Service
A female student returning to Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School said Lemieux’s previous look was a distraction.

‘It is very unprofessional to show up at the school in that,’ she said. ‘I feel like if it’s going to bring only bad things to the school, why should it be allowed?

‘I feel like they changed our school a lot to accommodate this person.’

But, most students said they were not bothered when they found out that Lemieux would be teaching at their school.

‘Not really,’ said one boy, with a shrug. ‘My dad was so pissed, though!’

Another said: ‘As long as it doesn’t cause any harm to our school or the students, it’s like, whatever.’

Lemieux is back in the classroom for the first time since being placed on paid leave on Feb. 28 by the Halton District School Board (HDSB) only days after pictures surfaced showing her out and about as a man – after claiming her breasts were realand the result of a ‘hormone sensitivity to estrogen.’

Last week, Lemieux said nothing when asked why he insisted the breasts were real.

When Lemieux started teaching at Oakville Trafalgar High School in the fall of 2022, he was named in the online faculty directory as ‘Kayla Lemieux.’ The list was later taken offline.

The school took unprecedented security measures after protests popped up outside and both officials and Lemieux faced threats of violence. The HDSB tried to introduce a dress code that would have tamed Lemieux’s cartoonish attire.

Lemieux earned a teaching diploma from Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2002 and a diploma in education from Queen’s University in 2006. As all teachers are required to do in the province of Ontario, he successfully completed a Sexual Abuse Prevention Program.

The Ontario College of Teachers, which certifies educators in the Canadian province, shows ‘Kerry Luc Lemieux’ as a teacher ‘in good standing’ since 2006.

In August of 2021, TikTok user Evan Scrinko posted a clip of Lemieux walking down Lakeshore Road West in Oakville wearing the blond wig and prosthetic breasts.

According to a source, Lemieux went on leave from the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) later that year after 16 years with the board, including years as department head of Ancaster High School’s Technological Design program.
