There were reportedly no broken down cars or other vehicles in the immediate vicinity at the time of the collision, according to WPLG. Authorities believe that the man possibly entered the I-95 on foot from an on-ramp close to the scene of the collision.
The Florida Highway Patrol currently has troopers investigating the collision along with the circumstances that led to it, WPLG reported.
Swarms of ATVs and dirt bikes swarmed the roadways of Miami earlier in February, at one point overtaking a Shell gas station and bringing traffic on the Dolphin Expressway to an utter standstill.
