Florida deputies remove 10 grams of meth from woman’s ‘body cavity’

What began as a routine traffic stop became a drug bust for the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say they found drugs in the car and other places.

Last Thursday, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested Anthony Pezza and Tiffany Chapman who deputies say had plans to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana.

Deputies say both Pezza and Chapman were asked to exit the vehicle. They were asked if there were any narcotics in their possession, to which they both said no.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies found various drugs including drug paraphernalia which included plastic bags, scales and a bag that contained several prescription bottles with the labels removed.

During the sweep of the vehicle, Chapman then stated she had drugs in her “body cavity,” the sheriff’s office said.

According to deputies, a female deputy was requested and assisted Chapman with removing the drugs from her “body cavity.”

Deputies found 10.8 grams of methamphetamine in her “body cavity.”

Chapman was taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on charges of trafficking amphetamine, possession of narcotics with intent to sell/manufacture/distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia/equipment.

Pezza, who had previous charges of drug possession, was also taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on charges of trafficking amphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell/manufacture/distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia equipment.
