Priest ‘Close to the Pope’ Accused of Sexual Misconduct With Nuns, Continues Service While Pro-Life Hero is Defrocked

The Pope has made his priorities clear.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Saturday that the Vatican dismissed Fr. Frank Pavone from the clerical state for “blasphemous communications on social media.”
Fr. Pavone is one of the most prominent and dedicated pro-life leaders in the world.
While a hero for the prolife movement has been defrocked, a priest, that is rumored to be close to the Pope, is under fire for alleged sexual misconduct with several nuns, spanning decades of abuse.
Father Marko Ivan Rupnik (and yes, he still gets to be called Father while the Vatican now calls Father Pavone Mr.) is accused of a litany of sexual misconduct allegations that the Church ignored for decades.
A Slovenian priest who is said to be close to the Pope has been accused of inviting two nuns to take part in a ‘Holy Trinity’ threesome.
Marko Ivan Rupnik, 68, was accused by a former nun of using his ‘psycho-spiritual’ control over her some three decades ago to have sex, including group sex, and watch pornographic films.
At the time of the allegations, Rupnik, who is known in the church for his artwork, was a spiritual director of a convent in Slovenia and the former nun, now 58, has described how her complaints against the priest were ignored.
Rupnik is now at the centre of scandal that has engulfed the Jesuits, a Catholic order of priests and brothers, of which Pope Francis is a member.
The former nun told the respected Italian investigative newspaper Domani on Sunday in explosive testimony: ‘Father Marko started slowly and sweetly getting inside my psychological and spiritual world, exploiting my uncertainties and fragility and using my relationship with God to push me into sexual experiences with him.’
The nun claimed Rupnik had groomed her, had sex with her and bullied her into silence during her time in the Slovenian convent between 1987 and 1994.
She claimed Rupnik had asked her and another nun to have sex with him, saying they would replicate the three-way relationship between God, Jesus and the Holy Spirits.
She said she believed Rupnik had abused as many as 20 women.
She detailed years of sexual abuse and spiritual manipulation by Rupnik and said she made repeated efforts to turn him in only to face Jesuit and other superiors who routinely protected Rupnik at her expense.
Shockingly, the Jesuits admitted he had been excommunicated in May of 2020 for absolving a woman he engaged in sexual activity with, only to have it lifted that same month

Bishop Libanori’s letter comes on the heels of revelations in the past week that Father Rupnik, a Slovenian priest well-known for his mosaics that adorn chapels and churches around the world, had been excommunicated for using the confessional to absolve a woman with whom he had engaged in sexual activity.
The Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which handles sex abuse cases, declared the excommunication in May 2020 but lifted it that same month, reportedly after Father Rupnik repented.
Yet when new allegations surfaced of sexual and spiritual abuse by Marko in the early 1990s at the community for women religious in Slovenia where he served as chaplain, the same Vatican office (now called the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith) closed the case because it said the claims were too old to prosecute.
To be clear, fight for the unborn and the innocent and the Pope will excommunicate you. Ask nuns for a threesome, show them porn and use the confessional for a grave crime in the Catholic Church and your excommunication will last less than a month.
