She is not drop-dead gorgeous.
A beauty pageant competitor survived quite the shocking experiencing Sunday while competing at the Miss Sahuayo 2022 contest in Michoacán, Mexico.
Andrea Granados Victor — who was on the runway strutting her stuff in a feathered national costume — reached out with her right hand for a microphone.
However, the minute the device connected with her skin, it was apparent something was very wrong — electrical volts were coursing through her convulsing body.
“She’s getting electrocuted, she’s getting electrocuted!” yelled the master of ceremonies in the shocking footage released by Jam Press.
In the now-viral video taken of the event, viewers can see the 22-year-old contestant struggling to remove the microphone while spinning backward. The model does eventually manage to disengage herself from the faulty device.
“We were live when she received a strong shock,” one pageant competitor told the outlet. “Miss Andrea just received a strong electric shock from the microphone. They are already taking care of her.”
The pageant took a brief pause while medics swarmed Victor to make sure she was alright. Victor was not seriously hurt, and only sustained burns to the hand in which she grasped the mike, local news site Mexico Detail Zero reported.
Before the shocking freak accident, social media watchdogs criticized contest organizers for the lack of safety and poor preparation that almost led to serious consequences for the contestants, according to international outlets.
Meanwhile, when the pageant resumed, Victor took the stage to finish her set to rapturous applause.
“I came back recharged — literally, hahaha,” she quipped upon her return to a standing ovation.
“Thank God, everything is fine,” the young model added as the crowd cheered her on. “I want to share with you that after undergoing some medical tests, I can say that I feel fine. Thank God, it did not go beyond a burn.”
Meanwhile, the unnamed pageant commentator boomed, “That’s dedication! That’s willpower! Well Andrea, you’re a winner. You’re a warrior like the people of Sahuayo.”
Victor then added, “Thank you for your total support and so many touching messages.”
Alas, the burgeoning beauty queen did not take home the crown — but she did win the unofficial “Miss Sympathy” award for her onstage mishap.
