A viral video shows footage of flooding that took place after a pipe burst on the Carnival Vista cruise ship. The video posted by TikTok user @adrienne_marie_1 has garnered more than 18 million views.

The video showed a group of guests standing in the hallway as water reached their ankles.

“Woke up to water rushing into our cabin… our lives flashed before our eyes,” read the caption for the video, which features the song “My Heart Will Go On” from the film titanic play in the background.

This was announced by a spokesman for Carnival Cruise Line news week that the cause was a plumbing problem. It took place a few weeks ago but was “quickly resolved” by the company’s onboard team.

The person filming the video turned and walked in the opposite direction, splashing through the water. A pile of towels and sheets lay on the floor in front of a door.

Viewers were stunned by what happened and shared their thoughts in the comments, many of which took cues from @adrienne_marie_1 and drew comparisons to the film titanic

“Well now all you HAVE to do is adjust the door,” wrote one viewer. “Hope all is well [for real].”

“Wait for the guys in the band to start playing,” commented another TikTok user.

“Bro… where’s jack he’s giving you a whole wagon,” wrote one viewer.

TikTok user @adrienne_marie_1 posted a second video showing the rushing water rushing down the hallway.

In this video, a man said off-screen that a pipe burst in one of the rooms.

“There was so much water coming in that they opened it and all of that came out and now they’re trying to hold the door back,” he said.

The video included photos of the room, water pouring down a flight of stairs and guests waiting outside in different hallways.

“The ceiling collapsed and filled this room… eventually burst through the door and filled our room and others,” reads the caption above the video.

Although there were hiccups on the trip, @adrienne_marie_1 said she and her friends enjoyed their time.

“I was just documenting a scary experience that turned out to be funny,” read the caption for her second video. “We actually woke up from that tide and left water on our ankles…so Titanic vibes for about 5 minutes.”

Carnival officers and crew go through safety and emergency training, according to its website, and its ships are designed to remain safe in adverse conditions.

“In addition, it is our usual procedure to conduct a mandatory lifeboat drill at the beginning of each voyage,” the website reads. “The purpose of the drill is to make sure guests know where to go and what to do in an emergency.”

news week reached out to @adrienne_marie_1 for further comments.

Photos and videos were previously shared showing a fire that broke out on another Carnival cruise ship in May.

Another video shows a cruise ship on the Mississippi River with a tornado visible in the background.

A video went viral after capturing Daisy Duck’s performance opposite Beyoncé’s performance run around the world (girl) on a Disney cruise ship.
