It appears TNBD came under attack this morning
Hey, guys.
Just to touch base with all of you and fill you in on something that went on here this morning.
At around 9:00 EST this morning TNBD came under attack via Disqus. It wasn’t done through our WordPress or through our hosted domain site end. This was being done through our DISQUS end.
We caught it right away thanks to the member named GG. At approx nine this morning we saw GG make a comment saying “this is a bot” which drew my attention to where they were seeing this at. When I went to the story where they made the comment at that story was not posting by us here at TNBD.
I immediately contacted MichCon. We caught it right away and locked up everything that had tried to post.
We got in contact with our close friends at DISQUS, and they looked over what we can see here and they are looking into it for us. At the same time our good friend Cali jumped in and got on with her DISQUS contacts, explaining in technical detail what she was seeing happening over here.
So if things seem a little slow today with the stories we have going up, this was why. But it looks like everything is fine here.
