Murderer of Harris County Deputy Constable Captured In Mexico
HOUSTON – An international manhunt came to an end Wednesday when the man accused of fatally shooting Harris County Pct. 5 Constable Corporal Charles Galloway on Sunday was captured in Mexico, according to the U.S. Marshal’s Office.
Oscar Rosales, 51, was captured in Ciudad Acuna, which is right across the border from Del Rio, Texas. Rosales was charged with capital murder.
His “Brothers in Blue” said Corporal Galloway was performing his official duties as a peace officer in a marked patrol unit when Rosales shot him with a deadly weapon. Harris County Constable Ted Heap’s Office lists Galloway’s “End of Watch” on Jan. 23, 2022.
