The tale of two
This was the last poem that I had written before my daughter Jean Nichole went home to be with our Lord. The poem came true because her husband and men like him are the corrupted man.
Tale of Two…Ⓒ by Donna Rae Lands (DRL)
Crossed the paths…of fate devised…
Our nature released upon our lives…
Their rights of beauty-natures land…
Preserved and defended from the corrupted man…
All the ancient tales revealed…
Secrets known and secrets sealed…
Talons of power- destiny within…
Can never free, this woman of sin…
Just a Lady in the wilderness writing about this, that and what not.
“Substitute ‘damn’ every time you’re inclined to write ‘very;’ your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be.”
–Mark Twain
