Paris Hilton is undergoing IVF to ensure she can have a ‘boy and girl twin’

Paris Hilton has revealed she is undergoing IVF with ‘soulmate’ Carter Reum to ensure she can have a ‘boy and girl twin’, after dating him for a year.

The socialite, 39, told The Trend Reporter with Mara podcast on Tuesday that best friend Kim Kardashian, 40, had introduced her to the idea.

Paris said: ‘[Kim was the one] who told me about that. I didn’t even know anything about it. I’m happy that she told me that advice and introduced me to her doctor.

‘We have been doing IVF, so I can pick twins if I like.’

‘[Carter] is just my dream guy… He’s 100 percent [the one]. We talk about [planning a wedding] all the time and planning our babies’ names and all of that.

‘Just doing it together and having a partner that is just so supportive and always makes me feel just like a princess all the time … that it wasn’t that bad

‘So, I’m really excited to just move on for the next step of my life, and finally just have like a real life.’

‘Because I really do believe that having a family and having children is the meaning of life.

‘And I haven’t got to experience that yet, because I didn’t feel like anybody deserved that love from me, and now I finally found the person who does.’

Kim would have been able to give Paris sage advice about falling pregnant with IVF.

She suffered from pre-eclampsia and placenta accreta during her first two pregnancies with North, now seven, and Saint, five, and underwent five operations to fix internal damage.

She told E! ‘After my daughter was born, I still continued to do the process of freezing my eggs.

‘I was able to get pregnant through that with my son Saint, and then I had two embryos left.’

Due to her high-risk and difficult pregnancies, Kim and Kanye West used gestational surrogates to carry Chicago, three and Psalm, 20 months, for them.

Meanwhile, Paris is already aunty to big sister Nicky’s daughters Lily-Grace, 4; and Teddy, 3; and her sister-in-law Tessa’s daughter Milou, 11 months.

Nicky told US Weekly in 2019 that Paris would be an ‘incredible mother.’

She said: ‘Paris is like a big kid herself. So I think she’ll be an amazing mother one day.’

She said her own children think Paris is ‘like, a doll.’

Adding: ‘When she visits New York, I’ll take them over to her loft, and they’ll just look at her dolls and her trinkets and her figurines and then the little dogs, and they just are in heaven.’

The socialite will of course have to make room in her ‘Slivington Manor’ in Beverly Hills considering the seven dogs and one cat already residing there.

Paris revealed last September she wanted to have twins and was looking for a baby name for a son.

She said: ‘I have baby London, which is the girl, and I’m trying to figure out a name for the boy.

‘So if you have any suggestions, I’m asking my friends. I don’t want a theme of cities, but I don’t know — it’s hard to decide. London for sure for the girl; the boy, I’m just still trying to decide on.’

She also said at that time: ‘I can’t wait to have a family. I finally found my better half, my perfect partner. I believe that the meaning of life is to have children and start a family. I can’t wait for that moment to come, which will be soon.’

Hilton and the M13 co-founder Carter, also 39, celebrated their 13-month anniversary on December 29, and they talk about getting married ‘all the time.’

The inseparable couple originally went public on January 5, 2020 while canoodling at the Warner Bros. and InStyle’s Golden Globes after-party.

Paris has apparently dreamed of motherhood for some time and back in 2018, it was reported that she was planning on doing it solo after splitting from her then fiancé Chris Zylka.

A source told Heat magazine at the time: ‘She sees what (her sister) Nicky has with her husband and two kids, and she’s jealous. So, now she’s reached out to a sperm-donor agency.

‘She is seeking an anonymous donor with extremely good looks, high IQ, and from a family with a top pedigree. There’s a hitch though, in that donors don’t tend to be millionaire backgrounds. After all, rich people don’t need to sell their sperm.

‘Paris feels like being a single mum really goes well with her image of a can-do-it-all businesswoman who doesn’t need a man to succeed.’

The This is Paris star will next celebrate her 40th birthday on February 17.

She said: ‘I look the same because I’ve never done anything. I feel so proud. I’m 100 percent natural. I’ve never had Botox. I’ve never done a filler. I’ve never had any plastic surgery whatsoever.

‘And the one piece of advice my mom told me since I was like seven years old is to always stay out of the sun!’
