McDonald’s Is Officially Bringing Back The McRib Nationwide, So 2020 Is Good For Something

by

Fast food chains removing your favorite menu item is a heartbreak that can be hard to get over. You can try to make a copycat recipe at home to ease the pain. But sometimes you can get lucky and the chain will bring the item back, even if just for a limited time. With that being said let’s cut to the chase—the McDonald’s McRib is back, baby!

On December 2, McDonald’s locations will bring back the fan-favorite menu item. The McRib comes back every so often, but it’s usually only available at select locations, making it hard for everyone to get their chance to order it. Thankfully, Mickey D’s is blessing us this year and will be bringing back the McRib to locations nationwide. This is the first time it’s been brought back at all locations since 2012. So, yeah, it’s a pretty big deal!

For those who have never tried a McRib before, or those who just want a little reminder, it’s a sandwich that features seasoned boneless pork that’s lathered in smoky, tangy barbecue sauce. It’s then topped with slivered onions and tart pickles on the bun to round out the flavor profile.

With the chaos of this year, the nationwide re-launch of the McRib is one thing we can all look forward to. Mark your calendars and set your alarms for December 2, because you’ll want to head to McDonald’s that day for lunch…and dinner…and possibly a late night snack, too.
