Kansas minor corralled following bizarre 3:30 AM incidents
OCTOBER 19–A naked Kansas teenager found covered in ranch dressing may be facing criminal charges following a series of bizarre events early Saturday morning, cops say.
According to investigators, the 17-year-old suspect was “under the influence of a substance” when he caused a disturbance around 3:30 AM at Petro Deli in Shawnee, a Kansas City suburb.
After damaging merchandise inside the convenience store, the teen ran outside the business and jumped into a running car, which he then proceeded to crash into a nearby pillar, police report.
Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office deputies subsequently placed the teen into custody and transported him to a local hospital for treatment. The boy was eventually released into the custody of his parents.
It is unclear when the teen removed his clothes and slathered on the ranch dressing, or who owned the crashed vehicle.
“The criminal aspects of this incident are under investigation,” according to the sheriff’s office, which noted that, “no one was injured during this incident.”
