Have a good four-legged boy or girl in your life? Now you can reward them with a cold one thanks to Busch Beer.
The beverage giant announced Wednesday that it is launching Busch Dog Brew, a canine-friendly “beer” for dogs that is also raising money for pups in need of good homes.
“After a long day there’s nothing quite like having a Busch with a friend, and with so many new pet owners across America this year, we wanted to create a brew to give our fans a chance to share a Busch brew with their ‘best friend’,” says Daniel Blake, VP of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch. “Additionally, we’re proud to be able to partner with Best Friends Animal Society and continue our efforts to help those furry friends still looking for a home.”
As a way to continue its efforts in helping animal shelters and dogs in need of homes following the company’s Foster a Dog campaign, Busch will be donating $1 to Best Friends Animal Society for every case of Dog Brew purchased up to $50,000.
Busch Dog Brew is an alcohol-free bone broth full of flavor and nutrients that dogs can enjoy before a long hike or a hard day of play at the park. The healthy brew’s ingredients include bone-in pork butt, whole corn, celery, basil, mint, turmeric and ginger.
Busch Dog Brew is available for purchase in 4-packs online while supplies last for $9.99, and additional Busch Dog Brew swag is also available only at Busch.com/DogBrew.
Those who buy Dog Brew on National Dog Day (Aug. 26) will have a chance to win an official Dog Brew bed from Busch.
