Man in Detroit refuses to buy weed, gets shot
DETROIT, MI — Police say a man who refused to buy marijuana in Detroit was shot and is recovering in the hospital.
The shooting took place about 3:30 a.m. Sunday outside a gas station on the 4000 block of East Seven Mile, The Detroit News reports.
The 24-year-old man was shot on Detroit’s east side after he was leaving the gas station. A man approached and asked if he was interested in buying the drugs and the victim declined the offer. As he was headed toward his car, the man followed, pulled a handgun, and shot the victim through the driver’s side window, The Detroit News reports.
The victim was transported to a hospital and listed in temporary serious condition.
